Just thought this might be interesting ... I don't write it per say, but I do write fiction inspired by them

Just curious.

I imagine much of it is in the same vein as Kirk/Spock fan fiction.

Well ... of all the comments I expected to hear, that was NOT one ...

That is DISTURBED.

I'm not a big fan fiction, err, fan. Unless it has to do with the Backstreet Boys.

I know that there is a lot of Beatles fan fiction out there, but I have never heard of Fleetwood Mac Fan fiction. :shrug: It might be something that you could start.

I'd love to! I have found bits and pieces of it here and there but it's very scattered ...

I used to write fan fic for soap opera characters (Simon & Katie from ATWT...I was a little obsessed) but writing about real people would be a little weird. I dunno...cuz they're real. That was an intelligent comment. Anyways...I could still probably get into it if anyone wanted to start something.

Most of the fanfiction I have heard has been very scary. :distress: Weird stuff.

Just a heads up, The Ledge "rules" prohibit fan fiction. :wavey:

Oops. Had no idea...er...I mean of course I knew that since I am constantly reading and re-reading the rules of the board.

i like to think of myself as a fairly well-read, well-traveled open minded urban liberal with my finger on the pulse of high quality music and art and literature but
.....i have never even heard of fan fiction.
what is it and why is it not allowed on these boards?
