No, you do not. I was just noting in that comment that you are judging it without seeing it and I posted that clip link so people could see it and discuss it. BTW - that makes your opinion, but not you, even more assinine than before.

I don't have to see the clip to talk about whether or not it is a good idea to make the movie. And to say I do is assinine. Not you, the idea.

They were so boring. I watched them when they aired on PBS back in the eighties and they looked so laughable.

The Sand Fairy is another really bad BBC adaptation.

The clip didn't work for me.

I read all these books more than once before I was 12, and I loved them.

I never once got a Jesus vibe. And by that time I had read the bible, though my comprehension of it may have been a little challenged by the wording. And just for the record, it was already my opinion at the time, after arguing with someone at a church, and others, that the bible belonged on the shelf between Grimms Fairy Tales and Aesop.
