I have TR's Something/Anything? CD in front of me, and it indeed says Rick Vito is playing guitar on track #6 of Part Four, which is a song called You Left Me Sore.

This same album also contains Black Maria and Hello It's Me, with no credit to Stevie. Are there different versions of both on Back To The Bars with her on them, or is her appearance a secret one on this album? The latter seems nearly impossible, though, since S/A? came out in 1972. What year was BTTB? '78?

It's only "Back to the Bars" -- the live album -- that Stevie was ever alleged to have been on. & the Rundgren fans think her backup vocals were taken off "Hello It's Me" -- although the pirate radio broadcast that those fans have features very prominent Stevie.

Probably the reason Stevie even showed up at that Roxy gig was because she was dating Paul Fishkin at the time, & Fishkin & Rundgren were old friends. So no doubt Fishkin got her there.

Ah...I did not realize BTTB was a live album. Now it makes sense.

I just want to clarify here that I was corrected over on the Post-Rumours Board that the song Rick is on is Slut, not You Left Me Sore. (And also that it was his first pro-session!)

OK guys, here are the tracks:

http://www.buckinghamnicks.net/fun/bootleg.html#request

You can't really hear Stevie on "Hang on Sloopy," but on the rest she gets her "oohs" and "aahs" in the spaces where no one else is singing. I don't think she really knew the words to "She's Gone" or "Just One Victory" so she had to make the most of 'em.

Take out the "Not" and you could have one song title.

Interesting song titles. Did someone have a bad breakup?

Thank you so much! I love Josie Cotton, too! I can't wait to hear that one also
