I caught this show last night actually. Kinda American-Idolish...I think this is one of those bands, that to continue with Michael Hutchence they should change the name. The whole thing seems very sell-out-ish.

I saw most of the premiere & hadn't seen it since until last night, when I saw parts. I liked Jordis. She has good wide eyes for the stage, she's not in a bikini miolesting the guitarist, & she's not over-singing like some of the others are.

Ditto. To be honest, I was never a huge INXS fan even in their heyday.
But if some of the lesser American Idols can get contracts, I don't foresee a problem for her.

I LOVE this show. It's my new guilty addiction. I've seen every episode and if I'm not home I record it. As far as I'm concerned Jordis has it in the bag. I say she's going to win the whole thing and that was my though the first time she performed. She has it all - the look, the attitude, the stage presence, the voice, and she's a chick! And the best part about her is she pulls it all off without her tits hanging out! I also like Marty. I thought everyone they found were all quite talented in their own right and have been very impressed with everyone. I just think that not all of them are right for INXS just like the band says.

Did I miss someone getting booted or have they not done that yet? I set the DVR to record the 1-hour show and the results show, but I got King of Queens instead.

Jordis rocks! I want that dork who played the guitar and sang (?) Summer of 69 to go next...

We now have this show in the UK (or at least I saw pt 1&2 last week, but seem to have missed it this week.....oh well). I find it interesting as it was put to me by a fellow Ledgie, that had they changed the band name immediately and continued without MH, then they were in it for the love of the music, however by holding onto the name and finding a MH replacement, then it's all about the MONEY, cashing in on those songs and MH's memory..I must admit I do agree, why have they waited so long to do this? Because these blokes are wanting the cash and thats why theyr'e in it. Having said that though, I did find it quite interesting to watch.
