Interesting take. Kinda bouncy. It's lacking all the darkness and eerieness of the final cut. Nice alternate take, but not something I will be playing too often.

I loved it as an outtake. (Outtake as opposed to "finished version", which I will always love the most). Its simplicity stresses the dark feeling of it and the connection to "If You Ever Did Believe" is surprising.

Looking forward to the reissue and thanks for posting.

Thanks for the post! I'm also surprised at the quality of this mp3. Just imagine what it will sound like on a remastered cd. Cool!
