You're right. There's definitely an emotional detachment from both of them after the Tusk era. I wonder if Stevie would have rather not make another album and just toured again after Christine left in '98.

I think that's what she wanted. Especially since they couldn't get her to come in again. (sans the EP). Which was basically almost nothing.
