The first time I read about Christine buying the place in Kent was in 1992. I don't know when she moved there full-time (I always assumed 1998), but I'm sure she was there by the time of the SYW sessions.

She bought the house in Kent in 1990. It took sometime for it to be repaired and upgraded.

She has said this in several interviews. The house was secluded and in much need of repair. She restored a historic house that took some time. When she was on the world tour (Behind the Mask) is when the work started. She sort of knew that would be her last Mac tour (at least for awhile back then). She was still living in LA until the earthquake scared her and she moved back to England sometime after that when the house was finished.

Interesting. This is right before the internet was blowing up. By the time the Dance hit, I was getting all the articles and newsfeeds.
