I would still trade all of that for a fraction of the millions of dollars that they're making from this tour alone. Many people work tough jobs everyday of their lives and don't get the compensation and cushy benefits that they accustomed to. I think Lindsey and Christine are probably able to appreciate the situation they're in but Mick and Stevie appear to take the money, notoriety, and luxury lifestyle for granted. Just my opinion.

After a bit you must just long for the chance to be in your own home, with your own stuff, spending time with your own family doing things on your own schedule. And after 30 or 40 years the novelty aspect of people wanting to see you wears off. I think they still appreciate it in terms of selling out shows, but on a daily basis people telling you how much they love you kinda becomes normal. A lot of really famous people say after while of that you start to long for the ability to be a bit more anonymous when you are offstage and have normal interactions with people. They hear it every.single.day, for decades. It does seem Lindsey has managed to have some of that when he's on the road, getting out and around pretty well with no entourage. He's also said physically the road is no harder now than in the past. Stevie clearly has a different take on that.

First world problems, to be sure.

Curious what makes you think this.

Lindsey will do things with the kids for a week and then hit the homestudio to work out arrangements and new basic songideas from 10 to 6 everyday except weekends, I guess.
