you know what always fascinates me about your posts? you seem to put every woman other then Stevie down, constantly. in this post it's all Christine's fault for not coming back when Stevie wanted her.

I just wanted to say that I want a new album during the tour because I think that will increase publicity for it and I want to hear selections from it in concert.

But I am NOT one of those people who doesn't want to go to a show if they are just playing the same songs. I don't care if they do the same songs, I always find something different in each concert, no matter how identical the setlist is. The live feeling is extraordinary and, I actually, think I feel like a bit of a participant when I know what's coming. It makes me imagine I could be their stage director, when I get so familiar with it.

So, although I do join in the "nostalgia act" criticism, I would never, ever say that I don't want to see them because they only put on the same show. I don't think they ever put on the same show.

I'm not going to travel everywhere, but I will see as many shows as I can afford. I will never not see them, I don't care what they sing.

Michele

I think Christine should have come back sooner too, as soon as she was emotionally ready. I think it could have been done 2 years ago. I think people on both sides should have been more in touch with each other than they were. I think there may have been some pride involved.

it would have been great if the last year's tour was with Christine and they were all back to solo this year.

but it wasn't. i am happy i'll be able to see the original rumours 5 nonetheless. with some new songs would be nice.

It wasn't and I DO cast a bit of blame for that. Not just at Christine though.

What?? Get a grip. Christine is the only other FM woman. There is not any other women in FM (Becka not included), or "every" woman!?! wtf! LOL
And Christine certainly is not without criticism or beyond fault (as with anyone else in FM) in her recordings with or without Fleetwood Mac.

maybe i'm mixing you with another Christopher then. if so, my apologies.

too many different social media conversations. there was someone named Christopher on FB saying not so nice things about several amazing women rockers whenever someone would bring up how one of them was great. i thought i read some of your messages on here in the same vein too. must be mixing things up.

It was unfortunate, But, I admit, I did see that tour. Bekka did her best, but it was a limp Stevie impersonation, disguised as a tribute to the original "Gold Dust Woman"

glad it wasn't you.

hate it when some people put one woman on pedestal while spitting on every other, just as good or better or just different. my feminist nature can't stand that.

I'm just disappointed that her songs, if any, will just be tacked on leftovers from her Dave Stewart jam session. ... but it's better than nothing.

Imagine paying $1000 to hear "Don't Dream It's Over" instead of "Go Your Own Way"

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.
