They should wait. But I don't believe in ANY quality anymore now it's heading this way.

Christines songs cannot be ready yet, they just started a week or two max. In march. Maybe Lindsey is working alone on them now.

I think it is weird. Mick even said : she is doing it quick we hope.
I'm not going to say more about her behaviour. Before I'm called hostile again.

But still, in 2014, with this line-up, there has to be some steviesongs before we can call it a FM album. Especially since Chris is back.

Hmmm, maybe I should have voted for the third option.

i expected that vote from you, you've been consistent in wanting the chemistry of the 5, from the ground up.

by my math, considering it's the end of april, march and april would be more like a month or 2. if Stevie can record the full album in 2 weeks from scratch, why would you think FM can't finish 4-6 Christine's songs they had demos for beforehand in 2 months?

I think they really said goodbye to eachother at the end of that America todaything in Stevie's house. They just worked out some tracks from Chris. But I don't think they are still working there. But maybe Linds took the track home to arrange vocaltracks and guitarparts.

And, of course fooling around with his friggin trivial selfcalled productionvalues...

I never said you were hostile toward Stevie. I said you were hostile toward many a Stevie fan.

I have a feeling she has done her "part" with the MAC project and has moved on. If they plan on releasing a 12/13 track disc it could be done. Stevie has only contributed two to maybe three tracks to an album when Chris was on on board so.........

I think it's time to a new release, with or without the SN work. I really want to hear songs from everyon!!!
We know that Stevie always had a little piece on the albums; 2 songs in FM and Rumours, 3 songs in Mirage and Tango...
Even when it's time to see more SN songs on an album, and even when both with Lindsey released new works recently (2011), we can't compare. Lindsey will have more songs. So I think it's ok, if the new album must be released now.
Regards!!

As a Stevie fan first and foremost - yes- release the album without her songs.

Frankly, my interest is waning for a new FM record. They've lost momentum, and Christine's return (which could be criticized of bad timing) hasn't seemed to speed anything up, instead, I think it speaks volumes that they have all signed up for another greatest hits tour - "On With The Show" I mean, heck, it could've evolved into something else by now, if Christine, would have come around 5+ years ago (when Stevie offered her 5 million to come back) for the 09' "Unleashed tour"!?! Things probably would've been completely different, if she didn't wait until the 12th hour to return, conveniently, once Stevie & the band continued to help keep FM relevant and inspirational for a new slew of bands (if mostly on the back of keeping the bands back catalog & "Rumours" tension/shipping alive.)

Stevie was especially essential to this resurgence, with her high profile IYD solo appearances, and enthusiastic willingness to bring her brand to a bigger audience & younger generation w/ appearances on key television shows. All along Stevie's solo success & influence saw it's biggest surge ever in Europe since around the mid 2000s, starting with her collaboration with Deep Dish, and continuing with YouTube's ubiquitious arrival, and therfore access to Stevie's vintage footage & catalog (bootlegs/demos) and finally with the release of "In Your Dreams" (with her extensive press tour & concert appearance at Hyde park)

And finally, I know I was not the only one underwhelmed with "Extended Play"! "Sad Angel", "Miss Fantasy" & the other piano one, were alright, but certainly nothing special or interesting. Lindsey & the band seemed to simply be retreading ideas with bad production! Nothing new. If that's what I am to expect with a new FM record. I would rather they not sully their 70s & 80s output. I say let Stevie & Lindsey continue with their respective & artistically more expressive sole careers after this refried "reunion" tour.

you know what always fascinates me about your posts? you seem to put every woman other then Stevie down, constantly. in this post it's all Christine's fault for not coming back when Stevie wanted her.

I think Christine should have come back sooner too, as soon as she was emotionally ready. I think it could have been done 2 years ago. I think people on both sides should have been more in touch with each other than they were. I think there may have been some pride involved.

it would have been great if the last year's tour was with Christine and they were all back to solo this year.

but it wasn't. i am happy i'll be able to see the original rumours 5 nonetheless. with some new songs would be nice.
