I can see why you assumed the sign said "John B Sail". What it actually said was "John McVie" with a smiley face. blackcat, in her review of her experiences at the Philly show, refers to that sign as the John B. Sail.

Pretty amazing that particular sign made it all the way from Philly to CA before being confiscated by the man himself, no?

It was truly great fun to see Lindsey light up on the stage and get such a kick out of some recognition for his bandmate. It was doubly cool to see John get such a kick out of it!!!!
