As for deleting that part of the interview, if they had info in there that they didn't want to let out of the bag yet, I fully understand. At least we got a little good gossip. Michele |

I love the idea of Stevie and Linds working together again, but ,sorry to burst anyone's bubble, even if they start a project out as BuckinghamNicks, it will inevitably be turned into Fleetwood Mac. You know for a fact that Mick would show up at their doorstep with some puppy dog look on his face begging to be a part of it. And even if Stevie and Lindsey had enough willpower to say no to him, there are many more powers that control things other than Stevie and Lindsey. Stevie Nicks took the advice of her management and chose not to record a solo album in 2005, it would be even easier for them to convince her to make a BN album a Mac album. These two won't/can't rerelease the original album! At BEST they may record something "BuckinghamNicks" and then tour with Fleetwood Mac to support it.

With Christine gone, I don't get why it matters to Stevie or Lindsey fans if it's Fleetwood Mac or Buckingham Nicks at this point. In my mind, BN's "Crystal" almost sounds like a demo compared to FM's. And BN's live "Rhiannon" was no match for FM. John McVie and Mick Fleetwood were the best thing to ever happen to them.

At this point I'd disagree. If there were to be a Buckingham Nicks Tour or just some new music, I wish they'd do it without the rest of the Mac. You know, go out like you came in.* *does not include wrinkles, lbs, loss of hair etc... |

This would be amazing. I do agree that 'Say You Will' was essentially BN 2 with an awesome rhythm section, and also that it would possibly/probably morph into FM... or at the very least, Mick and John would 'guest' on it (which would be great!)
BUT if it's successful, it might FINALLY pave the way for BN to be released, and at the very least we might get some of those songs live (on the assumed follow up tour, I mean...) Anyway, I'd be thrilled with something new from them - whomever it ends up being credited to! |

A Buckingham Nicks reunion means Buckingham Nicks songs - and not just one or two thrown into a Fleetwood Mac set list, please.
I could even handle more new stuff in the vein of SA. That's a very nice start.

And what's the point about recording a Buckingham Nicks album instead of a FM one? or doing a tour? Without Christine is practically the same . Since Lindsey is a good producer, it would be the same sound arrangements in a BN or FM album, cause he will be involved in it anyway. The song list would be the same.. So what? I don't think we will find a big difference with another drummer and bass player. If the point is about "seeing Mick cut out of the $ on a tour " as I read in another post, I still wonder about all that hate to Mick. Yes he loves money, so what? Thanks to him and his money need we got Tango in the Night and (supposedly) the Live album. Thanks to him we got Lindsey and Stevie in the band. I guess those are enough reasons to be thankful to Mick Fleetwood.
