I concur with JohnnyStew...

The bridge in In The Back of My Mind is one of the most dramatic of any of their songs...especially since the the song is primarily a dark Billy Burnette song. The bridge suddenly breaks away from that darkness (like a brief sunbreak through the clouds) with Christine's warm vocals:

" I remember your eyes burning bright, like we touched the summer sun. I can see your shadow standing there, on the streets where we used to run."

Definitely not alone! I totally agree. Works well in both the original and acoustic versions.

Hmm... you guys threw me for a loop with the talk about a bridge in Gypsy. Musically it is very subtle, but what really makes it is the way Stevie sings that part. The guitar work throughout that song is heavenly. I put it in the same class with Sara and Trouble.

I haven't really thought about which bridge I like most, but the musical break in Dreams is wonderful. It has to be one of the most recognizable pieces of music in American pop. If you were to turn on the radio during that break, half a note would be enough to figure out which song it is.

Cool

"In The Back Of My Mind", most definitely... and "Freedom" was another great choice, Johnny Stew. May I add "Smile At You" from the new album... the "what you did not need..." part is just amazing. Even with all that production.
