So, Dave's an "Insider"??

Here's a marketing thought - an EP packaged with the Rumours cd/dvd combo never released in 2009 and BN finally...

That's perfect! Something old with something new mixed in.

LB-as-producer is indeed the death of Fleetwood Mac. This band has no future - that's NO future - without *both* Buckingham and Nicks. I only wish I could be confident that Stevie wouldn't cave and accept FM produced by LB again, but I think she will. She shouldn't, but she will, simply because at the end of the day Dave is a working relationship and LB is much more than that.
Stevie's quitting if they don't get an outside producer? Before the last two tours she wasn't going on without Christine either, so I guess you're right. The band has no future.

But jeez... LB is such an amateur.
Forgive them, Bwana, for they know not what they say.

Maybe he'll get better, though. Go, LB!
Producing for 40 years...there's no place to go but down.

2 cents more There's nothing wrong with "Say You Will" except the absense of Christine. That cd is an excellent piece of work.

Release a live album from performances of the Unleashed tour with some new studio songs as well.

What would be a fair price for an EP? $8 maybe $9.00 ?

Every EP I've bought has been at least $7 but never more than $10. I can't say how much I dig the idea of a Mac EP. It's the very opposite of their typical wallowing excess. Mick said in Destiny Rules that he thought the idea of a double album was artistically spunky. I feel the same way about a Mac EP.

So, if they did record some sort of new project, where do you think they'd do it? Lindsey's home studio? Stevie's house? Somewhere in Hawaii?

I've wondered this myself. I'd cross off either Stevie's or Lindsey's homes due to ego reasons. There's no way Stevie would work under "Lindsey's wife's" roof, and I seriously doubt Lindsey would work under Stevie's roof (even if the house is not her primary residence). Since Lindsey is also apparently buying a home in Hawaii and Mick & John also live in Hawaii, signs would certainly point towards a Hawaii based album. I like the idea of the band recording in Hawaii... it's certainly out of their norm.

It's a wonderful CD!

The absence of Chris didn't bother me much - it think it works well with the 4 of them.

If one member of the five had to be lost, Chris was the right one to go (IMHO) - I couldn't bear a Fleetwood Mac without LB/SN/MF/JMcV!

Well, I don't want to lose anyone, but if forced first I could bear for John to go, then the Fleetwood guy, then . . .
