Hey everyone,
While driving home for Christmas in a most Chris Rea-esque fashion, my christmas mix tape (yes, tape!) wouldn't play and instead I was listening to John Hiatt for 2 hours as I drove through horrible weather. It made for quite a journey as I drove North (not South, that would have been more fitting!) Anyway. since my ex-girlfriend introduced me to John Hiatt I got to thinking that it may be unusual to still listen to people who an ex turned you on to in the first place! I did know who he was (mainly because of my love for Bonnie Raitt) but had never explored his back catalogue until she came along. She is Dutch and quite a few years older than me, and he still tours there regularly, so she made me a real fan! I don't think I'd ever listen to him if she was in the room though, that could be a bit awkward... So, what's the etiquette on this? haha Thoughts...?
