Jeremy Spencer in old NME about "Story Of Jesus"

Thanks for posting this article, Daniel! I'd read about the planned religious album before, but it's great to see the actual article where Jeremy mentioned it. Good questions about whether it was planned to be all-instrumental, and whether any of the planned tracks might have turned up on any of Jeremy's other albums.

I've wondered for years about that "Refugee" track. I have an book from the late '70s that mentions "Refugee" was supposed to be a single from Peter's then-upcoming comeback album (In The Skies), and that it was written when Peter was still in the band. Fleetwood is quoted as saying one of the instrumentals from the album was "Albatrossy", and I've always assumed he was talking about "Apostle". It's not clear from the book whether "Refugee" and the instrumental mentioned ("Apostle"?) might have been the same track. It wouldn't be the first time that a song was renamed. And maybe it was indeed a track that had been originally considered for the Green-Spencer religious album.
