People who don't care about animals, or anything besides humans, are short sighted a-holes. And although I was surprised and not pleased by your original abortion comment, and disagree with you vehemently, I think letting it go is cool. I don't really think you have an agenda, per se. I do think you are a nice person with icky ideas, icky priorities, and not enough information.
Which isn't as insulting as it sounds, as you are probably thinking the same thing about me, or others. Like people who don't care about abortions and who do care about animal abuse. And, of course, "icky" is a subjective term.

Even if you have no agenda, you must have known, or at least realize now, that if you mention abortion as wrong, and an important thing to think about, you'll get some serious guff. It's like (an abortion), 4 cells, whereas a dog is already a whole dog.
Also, there is a population problem. Also, there isn't enough people to take care of the kids that already exist in the world. Also, no one wants anyone to have and take care of some kid they don't want or know how to take care of.

It's cool, though, really there is no harm done by you expressing your opinion. I'm not going to accuse you of agendas, I'm just going to say that it appears the bulk of us think your opinion sucks nard disagree with you.
As far as I'm concerned, you've always been pretty nice. I'm sure we all have ideas from our upbringing that stay with us and resist logic. I'll notice the good about you, and largely ignore the bad. It would be nice if everyone thought like me, but it's not going to happen, and that doesn't necessarily mean the person doesn't have anything of value to offer. JMO.
