I'm so annoyed....I'm sure this has happened to some of you...anyway...
This morning I went into work (I work a country radio station) and the person I was relieving was training a new girl...anyway...Dixie Chick's version of Landslide was on...and I commented on how good it was, and the woman that works here agreed...then I enlightened her with the knowledge of where the song came from...and she said to the new trainee "this is our resident Stevie Nicks fan..." and the new trainee was like, "Oh yeah...I'm a huge Fleetwood Mac fan..." well, of course, I'm excited and I say something else about Stevie and the new girl says..."well you know she's totally into black magic and she's a witch and all that...." well...my excitement deflated right there...This happens countless numbers of times to me...does this happen to you all as well? I never realized this was such a wide-spread rumour...and it's begining to bug the crap out of me that everyone feels the need to inform me of things like this....ok..just had to vent... |
