They are keeping Storm to have more than one woman in the competition at this point, which is fair enough, but if I were one of the performers I'd be confused. And Ryan had some good reason to be pissed. I rather enjoyed his snotty parting comments.
Well, I haven't seen all of the shows, since I am relying on the internet, but it seems like they have been asking for "memorable" performances and artistic "growth". Ryan kept changing his style in a way that seemed like flailing in desperation, but they called that growth. I disliked his voice on most of his songs.
Storm is still around because she is talented, and funny, and she has fans.
There are many double standards on the show, for instance, why didn't Gilby knock Dilana for swinging her leg over the shoulder of, and mounting the head of, the guitar player? Dilby ripped into Jill for grinding on him, but he ignored Dilana's move.

...and another thing The fashion on the show is bugging me. Dilana looks like she belongs in that band Dead Or ALive, or Hayze Fantayze, Storm's outfits have been mostly ugly. Does Toby need his chain wallet on stage? Lukas is too cluttered, and Magni is undecorated.
