I attended the NAMM conference this past week/weekend. On Thursday Mick attended the opening breakfast. He spoke, but not much. The main focus of the event were the other gentlemen attending, including the Governor of Arkansas.
However, Mick also did a short NAMM Session on Creativity. Sir Ken Robinson essentially asked Mick specific questions, and let Mick ramble on for as long as he could. I thought the format would have been much better for a session longer than 20 minutes, the short time made it choppy at best. Mick stood outside the booth for about 20 minutes waiting for his session to begin. He was very friendly, and chatted with people. No real new information came out. A short video was shown to introduce Mick, all clips we've seen on "Behind the Music" or any similar show. Mick talked briefly about how he started in the business, and the formats of the schools in England. He also talked a bit about letting new members of Fleetwood Mac develop their own sound instead of mimicking what the previous member had done. I did manage to get a few (blurry) pictures from the event. However, they are all too big to post here. If you're *that* interested, send me a PM and I'll be happy to e-mail them to you.
