Santana

[desertangel]

This is gonna drive me nuts... I just got back from a Santana concert. About halfway thru the show, Carlos said he had a personal message to read. He took some paper out of his pocket and began reading about hurricanes and spirituality. He asked the audience to chant a couple of phrases but he didn't get much of a response, so he threw the paper down on the floor and said something like "there's more, but I won't go into it now..." then continued on playing music. Later on, he picked up the paper and handed it to one of his stage hands.

It was a really cool speech and I wished like heck that he would have gone on with it, now I'm DYING to know what the rest of it was and I can't find anything anywhere on the Internet about it. Maybe he never intended on reading the rest, but it almost seemed like he would have if the audience responded more favorably. Has anyone here seen a Santana show on the current "Embrace Your Inner Light" tour? If so, what was the speech part like...? Was it the same?

Okay... thanks to anyone who can help me solve this little "mystery" in my life.
