I know what you mean. I listened to the EP once, and it enraged me & broke my heart at the same time. After waiting a decade for a new album, it was a slap in the face and a spit in the eye. This kind of forced me to finally admit that Fleetwood Mac has died, and Say You Will was it's last gasp. There will be no new amazing albums from Fleetwood Mac; they are simply an oldies touring act who has lost their muse. Since this realization I've simply tried to focus my love on the band that once was, not what Fleetwood Mac has decayed to. In the end I will always hold a soft spot for their music, which was the soundtrack to my coming of age.

Hi Louie, I hear what your saying. It is hard to love the Mac etc. because they really could've done so much for us as a fan base (same with Stevie solo stuff) but it always seems that we just get crumb's and were suppose to feel happy about it all. My last concert for Mac was 03 and my last Stevie solo was 08. I don't feel the need to spend $ on the live concert thing its all a disappointment with the set list (same for Stevie solo too). Don't get me wrong part of me will always love them and there music and Stevie's but really well my 'fandom' just isn't what it was back in the late 80's or even 90's. I still look for stuff on eBay but I don't need everything actually I need to get rid of some stuff and that may happen sometime down the road. I'd keep what I do like but I don't need it all and I guess my passion just isn't there anymore really. I do look at the posts on the Ledge but unless I really feel like saying something I just read them and let it go. Its just not as important as it once was. Plus with my parents health having been a issue for 2 1/2 yrs. or so stuff like this becomes less important ya know. It helps put things in perspective some. Than I am on the Net like most of us @ work and its really hard to be on it a lot at home but I do when I can and feel like it. So I don't mean to be a downer at all. I do understand what us old timers are going through. Thanks for your input when you can post. Take care--I'll post when possible. If it does matter?
