Master baker? I'm more of a mastur***er!:lol: Really, "baking" is the one thing I've never really tried. I guess mainly because I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so I don't crave cakes and pies. And I avoid bread, because it's evil. (even though I'm a secret bread whore, we're successfully divorced)

I never do too much when preparing mussels. You really don't need to. Cook them for a couple of minutes with some garlic, drizzle of lemon jouce over the top - that's it. If I;d had some white wine I'd have chucked a little in too. They're also great with flaked chili over them.
