John hating making videos has nothing to do with it, or the logic behind doing it or not. Sorry.

A video for THROWN DOWN would have helped rescue the song. It came out just as most of the radio stations that would maybe play it were all going to FREEKIN CHRISTMAS music. It would have helped save the song from disappearing.
