I'm not sure if we have already talked about this. I didn't find a gender field in the ledgie profiles. But maybe we could mention it in the little biography field.

I was reading darklinensuit thread about doing things when you can't sleep. At first I didn't know if he was a he or she, later I realized he signed "Jake" but for few seconds I doubted about suggesting him to do something that has to do with men, sex, and hands when you are ALONE in your bed

Of course I'm a gentleman and finally I didn't post it.

And I remember that more than once I didn't know if I was answering to a girl or a boy (Deadliest poison, dissention, Hawkeye, Everyhour, shackin' up, etc)

I don't know if it would be too much work for the moderators to include a field in the Public Profile. Otherwise I invite ledgies to fill the Biography field on it, to know their basic info.
