Are you a boy or a girl ? (Moderators..?)

I'm not sure if we have already talked about this. I didn't find a gender field in the ledgie profiles. But maybe we could mention it in the little biography field.

I was reading darklinensuit thread about doing things when you can't sleep. At first I didn't know if he was a he or she, later I realized he signed "Jake" but for few seconds I doubted about suggesting him to do something that has to do with men, sex, and hands when you are ALONE in your bed

Of course I'm a gentleman and finally I didn't post it.

And I remember that more than once I didn't know if I was answering to a girl or a boy (Deadliest poison, dissention, Hawkeye, Everyhour, shackin' up, etc)

I don't know if it would be too much work for the moderators to include a field in the Public Profile. Otherwise I invite ledgies to fill the Biography field on it, to know their basic info.

Just an idea.

I'm a boy. And I agree somethimes it's hard to know what someone is. Especialy by the avatars. I always assume everyone looks like their avatar. So clearly when we do picture threads I'm dissapointed they look nothing like Stevie. And when guys have Stevie avatars and girls have Lindsey avatars, it confuses things. Nothing against that, I LOVE greatdarkwing's Rhiannon Avata with Stevie going crazy, but I still think Alex is a girl even though I know it's a he.

I still have no idea what gender a number of people are - and I don't much care either way. It's kind of interesting not knowing, IMO.

Don't you get tired carrying that big canvas around with you all the time?

Oh, wait, so that's NOT you in your avatar?

Paula

Actually, I'm neither boy nor girl. I'm a goat. :woohoo:

ryan8472 05-18-2004 02:48 PM

I guess having a male in my avatar helps a bit since I am one, but when people start thinking it's Lucas from Days Of Our Lives, I start to worry a bit  .

Livia 05-18-2004 04:00 PM

Funny, I look EXACTLY like my avatar! (kidding) I'm a chick! :wavey:

So by that rationale, I'm about 3 feet tall, with stained mahogany skin, and I can belt out one hell of an "I'm So Afraid" solo.....!!!

(For the record, I'm a guy. :woohoo: )

DeadliestPoison 05-18-2004 04:27 PM

You'd probably think I was female, what with "Until she herself became the deadliest poison," but I'm actually a 16-year-old male.

And there you go. :)
