i don't know, the bootleg sounds flat. If you listen carefully you hear very very fantastic paceful and crisp guitarwork with a wonderful sync-player behind it. The vocals may sound more monotonal then 24 years ago, but they really blend. Maybe you're right. But I have the feeling you're not. Let's wait for a better boot. Although it's a rocking song that needs primal energy, I hear that more in the subtleness of this version. Maybe that's the reason that it's not a good encore, but I sense that it was wonderfully done.

The more I think about it...I really think it would have fared better in the middle of the set with a little intro..."Stevie and I did an album some of you may have heard of back in '73...this is one of the tunes from that album...hope you like it, it's called "Don't Let Me Down Again."

I think the audience response to it would have been a LOT better, and in turn, the band would play it each night and generally these songs get better after the first few shows of a tour.
