i just wanted to say - when I heard the mp3 of this track I got really excited. It really reminds me of "the old Fleetwood Mac" - back when the shows were so energy-filled, I would get chills - everybody stood for every song....

They should put this back in the set - it sounds excellent!

I agree. I'm really p.o.'ed they dropped it so early in the tour. I wonder what they'll replace it with. Do we know yet?

Well, like I said in the Madison thread - it just didn't work in a big crowd, it went over like a lead zeppelin. I was thrilled to hear it, the other die hard fans in the front were thrilled to hear it. But, when I looked around at the crowd, the majority of them were scratching their heads like, "Whaaa? What song is this?" And you could tell the band just KNEW it wasn't getting a good response. Maybe they'll add it again in the south, since BN was such a big hit in Birmingham? :shrug:

P.S. - Even though the first few shows have already occurred, I'm SURE there are still some people on the boards who do NOT want to know spoiler info. Last time I checked, the sticky was still on the top of this forum. ;)

I think it would have worked better earlier in the set. That way they could have explained it a little. All I know is they did not look enthused about it afterward or during it.

How did they look? I'm seriously wondering?

I've heard from some other people that they look at time bored up there. But I honestly can't picture that from what I've seen.

Well, I think LB was just pissed in general about the whole guitar mess ups. Then, although it did not come out this way on the bootleg, it sounded strange - like someone in the back up was not playing correctly. It was just weird sounding. The vocal, however, sounded good to me, even though it was slowed down a bit. I wish they would put it back in :cool:

I have not been able to go to the concerts. But I saw the Dance tour in Cleveland ( i live in LA). I thought they were full of energy. This time around I read reviews that said they looked tired or bored or just lacking in the energy dept.

I seriously can't picture this! SN not twirling around or LB not doing that crazy little dance. Doesn't seem possible.

I'd be bored too if I played the same set every night...

I do wish they'd add DLMDA though..

You guys gotta see this from their perspective. If you've never performed in front of an audience before, be it singing, acting, playing, whatever, you cannot understand what it's like to be doing whatever you're doing and look out at an audience that is lifeless. It's just about the worst feeling ever and it TOTALLY takes all your positive energy away. You just sink into this slump. So that might have been the reason they looked bored, if the audience was bored. Also, yeah, I really think they do get bored playing the same songs all the time, but they can't seem to get over this idea that they "have to play those songs." DLMDA might have just proven that theory to them if they tried it and it wasn't accepted by the mass audience. I bet at least sometimes Stevie walks out on stage and thinks, "Oh God, I have to do (insert popular song here) again! I'm so sick of singing it." After all, she says that's mainly the reason Sara wasn't played for so long...she just got so bored doing it (as well as the numerous other reasons).

That's one truly fickle mass audience. They loved it back in 1987 when FM played it with Rick Burnette & Billy Vito in the group. It was a highpoint in the set. It rawked!
