The use of that song, deconstructing it to just instrumentals, during the teaser portion (segment 1) of the pilot was inspired. It just perfectly fit the tone of the show, and established that in the very first episode. Another good example is "Crystal Blue Persuasion" in Breaking Bad. The use of that song over a montage was brilliant. I'm not seeing the same execution and use of source music for American Horror Story, which is unfortunate because they really have such strong material to work with. We were laughing that Stevie was performing on the show, rather than her songs being better integrated. At this point, I'd just love to hear "Seven Wonders," with all the talk about the next supreme having to perform them. That would be a great song to hear, one that I know isn't as well known or remembered by the general public.

In regard to "Seven Wonders"......I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts we'll hear it in Stevie's second appearance.....they just mentioned it too many times for it to be a coincidence! Remember...when Stevie suggested the second story line, she told Ryan Murphy "You know I have a song by that title!" HAS to be "Seven Wonders!" (Nice royalty check for Sandy Stewart!!!)
