Default Remastering

I wish they would remaster Stevie's back catalog....RAL, which I will always love from start to finish, is in desperate need for remastering....I know Stevie said (on Nicks Fix) that she would like to reissue her albums with a bonus disc ala what they did with three of FM's albums...but that was several years ago.

I wonder what's the holdup? She is a legend. People who have sold much, much less (and some one hit wonders) are getting their albums reissued with bonus tracks every week.

Here are some tracks I have worked on... I tried to come somewhat close to matching them to the levels of other already remastered tracks for the Enchanted Box Set & FM's 2 CD Greatest Hits from 2002. I haven't really worked on RAL yet... but I plan to!

Hope you find them an improvement over the ones on your CDs!

Bella Donna & The Wild Heart are the ones that need it the most. Fortunately, all but 2 songs from BD were presented in remastered versions on Enchanted. But I love How Still My Love & Think About it, the ones that weren't on the box set.

If I Had my way her first four albums would be remastered and released with a second CD of unreleased gems, B-sides and other rarities.

They're crazy if they don't do SOMETHING for the 30th anniversary of Bella Donna this summer. At the very least have it remastered.

I think about that all the time! It's really frustrating. Her label has not done any favors for her or her fans. I wish she could gain control of her catalog, and have an independant label re-release her albums. There are many great labels that do amazing work.

Thanks! And a big thanks for not adding possessive apostrophes to CDs --- not CD's. When I see that --more often than not-- it drives me f*cking crazy! Same thing with DVDs -- not DVD's! What happened to the integrity of basic writing skills?

English is so mangled these days. The worst offense for me comes from those trying to sound educated and not use "me", presumably stemming from childhood memories of Elementary school teachers "correcting" them back in the day in the incorrect usage of that word. So, now, instead, we get everyone using "I" so very wrongly.

"The love between her and I", "It was a gift to her and I", etc., so very wrong. "Her" is the object of the preposition, so the first person pronoun should be "me". But everyone's trying to make themselves sound all educated, so they say "I" in a completely incorrect way. This phrase is also made worse by saying, "The love between she and I" -

What's the thread topic? Oh yeah, remastering everything, including the even worse sounding Mirage.

Wouldn't that be a nice addition to a Bella Donna 30th Anniversary remaster. Blu-ray too, please.
