Those are great choices. I had to start this thread because someone on Amazon, saying they were a Stevie fan, panned IYD partially because of "schoolgirl lyrics" which I found truly baffling.

I really love these lines in You May Be The One:

I hear the islands calling
I hear angry words
Flying across the ocean
Like some sea birds
Never stopping

Love that image.

This album has some of Stevie's best and most mature lyrics, though there are still some clunkers. I love all the internal rhyming she does in these songs... Can't remember the exact examples now but I'll post them when I do!

"She moves from situation to situation like a ghost..."

That line ALWAYS gives me goosebumps. Especially when she lifts up the melody on the "...a ghost" part and leaves it hovering there til the end of the next line! It's my favorite moment of the whole album!
