How would you know. I always close the bathroom door!

Because, I'm telling you, my body wants to weigh 200+ lbs. I've got a very slow metabolism, plus I drink more than my share of beer. My body doesn't want to weigh 300, but it does want to weigh 200. And for the first time ever, I've beaten it. I had 3 White Castles, a couple of weeks ago, and that's only the 2nd fast food hamburger I've had, in 19 months.

So what's my option? Work out 5 days a week? FUKC THAT!!!! I'd 1000 times rather be hungry!

I told you about the great cholesterol numbers I've got now. My doctor even said, "David, I don't necessarily approve of the way you've lost the weight, but your numbers are great now. I don't even need to schedule another checkup for you, as long as you're staying where you are. Whatever you're doing, keep it up."

I really have to watch my food intake. If I ate every time I felt hungry, I would quickly weigh 200 lbs (and I'm all of 5'5"). I lost weight because I started having panic attacks every single day and all but stopped eating. I've kept it off because I keep a close eye on how much I weigh (I don't jump on the scale every day, or even every week, but I can't let it go for weeks or months) and how much and how many times I've eaten during the day.

And the fact that one of the side effects of the anti-depressant I'm on is appetite suppression doesn't hurt. I can tell when I don't take it, because I will literally eat all day long.

Yep. I COULD eat all day long. I'm a pig, inside.
I do jump on the scale every morning. Even though I'm 5'10, I don't want to weigh 200, ever again.
Twice in the past week, I've watched my friends chow down on pizza, while I sat there and watched. Do you know how HARD that is???
They at least admire my determination....

I'm like you. I've gotten used to self deprivation. Just waiting for it to start paying off... I weigh around 130 and I'm at the lower end of the 5 Foot spectrum, so maybe another 20-30 lbs to go.

My body is the same way. When I eat 3 meals a day like you're "supposed to," I get sooo big . Even if I have a regular sized lunch and dinner, I gain weight. I have to eat a tiny lunch and very sparing dinner to refrain from gaining weight. The only way I lose weight is by freaking starving myself. And I walk like 4 miles a day, and swim daily when it's warm enough. If I ate the way I truly wanted, I'm sure I'd easily weigh 250. Very likely higher. If I can get my weight to start with a "1" again, I'll be supremely grateful... but my body sure is fighting me on that!

Yep, my twin. I'm used to depriving myself. And for awhile, it was like I could do no wrong, and I was getting away with eating more and more. BUT, it started catching up with me, finally. I only put on a few lbs, but it felt like 15. So I'm back to self deprivation. Last night was a salad, and one small broiled fish fillet.

And to be honest, I really don't mind. I've just got to get used to being like that again. FWIW, I went out last night, and I felt thinner than I have for a few weeks. The payoff is worth it, to me. Fukc that 200 lb guy! He doesn't live here anymore!

And I HATE those fukcers than can eat like a pig, all day long, and not gain a pound. I say we kill them all.

What I lack in metabolism, I make up for, in sheer determination.

I'm starting to worry that I'm the exact same way. It's really freaking me out... I've been eating under 1200 calories daily for 2 weeks plus working out HARD every single day in that period of time.... and I feel like nothing's changed. More muscle, yes, but no loss of fat.

F*ck everything. I'm really sick of it.

Guess I better get used to the water breakfast and lunches that I've been indulging in for the past two weeks, as well as my weetabix dinners.

Don't give up. Doesn't it take about six weeks to see results from a workout regimen? And I do want in on the early morning texts of motivation, bro. Let's not start tomorrow because I have some debauchery planned for tonight, but next week, it's on.

My brothers are like that. They can eat whatever they want and not gain a pound. Bastards.

They way I maintain my weight is to eat about one or two very small meals a day, and exercise like crazy. I've become very familiar with the treadmill and Pilates. I've never been overweight, but just the thought of it terrifies me. It's not about vanity, though. I've never really liked myself, which has lead to addictions other than food.

I find it hard to gain weight.

It's not lucky, actually. I was quite poorly because of it for a number of years

Sooooo a deal.

I feel a bit better than I did this morning. This morning I was seriously considering not going until the afternoon which for me, highly increases the chance that I half-ass the entire workout. Well, I just went and I was in there for an hour and a half. So eff you, insecurity. I own you.

So I guess I'm a dick, today. I absolutely HATE late people.

So I'm doing sound tonight, for some little podunk local band. And we agree on a 6PM soundcheck. Me, I'm never late for anything...I don't believe in inconveniencing others.
So I arrive at 5:45, and have everything ready to go for them. 6PM becomes 6:30, and.I.leave. Fukc that.

They just called, and they're PISSED. I told them I have better things to do, than sit around waiting on a bunch of guys who have no respect for wasting my time. I need a dinner and shower break, and I'm getting one. "We need you back here, NOW!". Me> "sorry pal, it ain't gonna happen....you'll get a line check, 15 minutes before your start time".
They're really mad, and I couldn't care less. Maybe they'll be on time, next time. I HATE late people.
Thanks for letting me vent. JTIS!
