I just heard of it a couple of weeks ago myself ..It's where you can see other people and talk to them online ..I'm sure you have to have special equiptment to do that.

I don't know much more than you but I know my comp though not that old doesn't have a mircophone or camera..maybe someone younger can explain.

It's a video conferencing program, and it's free. It's pretty similar in usage to Yahoo and AOL instant messengers, except the video chatting is far more advanced. The video quality is excellent, and you can talk hands free just like on a telephone. From what I understand you can set up group video conferencing in addition to one on one sessions. I know there are far better technologically versed Ledgies in here who can add better commentary than what I'm giving

uggg, I have a imac which i love, and when I'm on that chatroom I keep getting disconected

There are colorful characters on there though.
