Very entertaining...kind of makes me want to throw my computer off the big orange bridge down the road from here.

Absolutely -- I think she's upset that she's being impersonated, but also that her fans aren't getting the right information. She's really engaging with the online community on this one. I think that's really exciting -- not to mention considerate

Is this the first letter you guys have seen from Stevie at the 'Fix? She was posting new ones there for awhile and then kind of stopped. As for the stationary, many fans have that as well. That's not such a big deal if you happen to have it. Back in the heavy fan trading days it was quite normal for fans to write back and forth to each other on that stationary.
For those that haven't seen them, unless they've been removed, search around at the 'Fix and you'll find Stevie's previous letters.
As for the content of the letter, as she said we all know she doesn't have or use a computer. Stevie's is very old school in that regard. I've said it before, Stevie still very much lives in the '70's.

The stationery was discussed in another thread recently:

Stevie still uses the stationery. I think I saw her give a letter to Jimmy Fallon on his show recently written on that stationery. I think I have one of the old Nouveau Gypsy catalogs somewhere in one of my boxes of Stevie junk.

*Edit* - Sanne - That Soldier's Poem you posted in 7W was on a piece of that Nouveau Gypsy stationery.

My mom just tweeted me that she admires Stevie's handwriting and wonders if she went to Catholic school as a child? Anyone know?

I don't think she ever went to Catholic school, but Stevie is of an age where you were taught penmanship in school. I don't think it's been taught in school in the last 20 years or so, or if it is it's not as strict as it once was. Many people of that generation have nice writing. Stevie's got her own very distinct style though.

That stationery of hers is precious...and totally Stevie. Who else who write notes with an illustration of her on them? I love it! And that top hat and tambourine is just adorable. It's the Stevie Nicks brand all the way.!!

i have mentioned before stevie & my mother are just a couple months difference in age~ i agree w/ you on this, about the penmanship & the way she writes her letters pretty much how we are taught from a young age~ my mother writes exactly like stevie does, except for the capital cursive N~

the stationary is precious~ i remember receiving a few sheets of it in a trade many moons ago, & i just copied those, so i could have more~ that same trader also sent me a few post its, w/ stevie stuff on them, one of the pics on the post its was a Johanna Pieterman shot~

I"m pretty sure she said she did. I think it was the one that was across the street from her house that she was always late for.

Yeah - this is what I mean. At least we finally know something that actually came from Stevie.

I have a Twitter account however don't use it, but is this situation with the twitter account referring back to the one that was given to her on a Fox News interview? I am lost as to what is going on.

Bingo. Somebody apparently has hacked it recently and started sending out messages. People started speculating it was Stevie's assistant, Karen... and it's all been downhill ever since!
