Today, the track-list was officially announced on Houston's website, www. whitneyhouston.com

I Look To You (available Sept. 1)

1. Million Dollar Bill
2. Nothin' But Love
3. Call You Tonight
4. I Look To You
5. Like I Never Left (feat. Akon)
6. A Song For You
7. I Didn't Know My Own Strength
8. Worth It
9. For The Lovers
10. I Got You
11. Salute

She did record HAEWAFY with producer David Foster, who also produced I Didn't Know My Own Strength. There were other songs that didn't make the final edit, but I expect the usual iTunes pre-order bonus track or deluxe digital edition bonus tracks, major retailer bonus tracks and bonus cuts on CD singles. International versions will have one or two non-U.S. tracks (usually Japan and UK).

Daughtry's new CD features 12 tracks, but seven more tracks available as various bonuses, deluxe ed., website exclusives, etc. That's pretty considerable.

^^

It'll probably get leaked anyway. I'm apprenhensive of it when it surfaces - I don't know how good a job Whitney will have done. But, you can't deny that the exposure Stevie would have got for that particular song (never a single, pretty unknown outside of fans) if it had been on the album.

It actually was a single but not a big hit. Reached #60 on Billboard's Hot 100 and #31 on the Adult Contemporary Charts.

Thanks for posting the track list. Hopefully, HAEWAFY will surface at some point. I'd be floored if she actually took HAEWAFY to #1.

I distinctly remember wanting to buy this single because it was like 30 seconds longer than the album version! Of course, now I realize all it was just a little bit of extended synth-y goodness tacked on at the end.

I've seen this cover so many times, I can't believe I forgot that it was a single. And you can never have too much synthy goodness.

It's track #6 on her new cd. She changed the title to A Song For You.
Some years ago on a cold winter evening at her house in New Jersey while her and Bobby were stoned, they were watching a video of the movie A Song For You in which Stevie stars as herself. They were originally planning on making fun of her but Whitney was so inspired with Steve's performance that she swore that someday, if she ever got her act together and stopped doing crystal meth for good, then she would record this song. She wasn't doing crack because crack is whack!
You'll see when the album comes out.
You heard it here first.

I don't know that i'm gonna be all that thrilled...
I love whitney,
But not like i love stevie,
It may ruin the song for me...as many other stevie/FM covers did.
I really hope she does a good job
OR ELSE!!!!!

I wish this were true, but unfortunately #6 is just a cover of the classic Leon Russell song. (I already have the album, which isn't that great.)

Anything that puts Stevie music on the map, I am for. IF anything it might give Stevie's recording career the shot in the arm that it needs!!!
