Default Christine's Broken Arm on the Tusk Tour

Right off, I noticed that Christine's arm was sheathed in a cast & inquired about it.

"You're the first to ask," she said. "It happened in the mountains at Big Bear, California," she said. "It's broken clear across."

Would the break curtail her work at the keyboard? Her response proved how determined she was.

"I can play for about 15 minutes," she said. "Then I'll keep on playing with my right."

Christine looked on the bright side, however. Her horoscope had been good for that day & she admitted that she follows it closely.

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear that she followed horoscopes.

I'm shocked that she followed horoscopes. Maybe Stevie got her interested in that sort of thing.

By the way, I just recently looked closely at this picture. I think Chris has a caste on her left wrist. It looks like she played the accordian with a broken wrist, in addition to the keyboards.

I've just always associated horoscopes with dingbats! (I'm praying you're not into that stuff, Mary Anne, because I wouldn't mean to offend you).

Her mother was into some weird stuff as well, folks, let's not forget. Horoscopes are nothing compared to talking w/ the dead.

Yes, that was shot in Japan. She had her left radius or ulna in a cast on the Japan tour. You've seen that Hit Parader with all those shots from on tour in Japan, right? There's one shot of Chris at a table with Stewart Copeland, another shot of Stevie in a fur coat, etc. In all those shots, Chris has her cast on.

Poor Chris!

I imagine it was her mother, the psychic.

Even practical people like Christine sometimes have an interest in things like astrology or the metaphysical.

Don't worry, Homer. I've never been & will never be interested in horoscopes. That's too hippy, dippy for me. I'm too practical. I think Lis & Johnny Stew are right. Chris probably got it from her mother.

No, I've never seen those Hit Parader pictures. Do you have them? If you do, can you post them?

I would think it would be hard enough to play keyboards with a cast, but to play a big, bulky accordian would be even harder. It must have hurt!

Attempting to ski. I don't think she even got that far. I think she fell on her wrist when leaving the mountain lodge.

I think it was just Chris. She must have gone during a break in the Tusk tour.

I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me if he had. When anything went wrong, he always seemed to be around.
