Christine's Broken Arm on the Tusk Tour
Right off, I noticed that Christine's arm was sheathed in a cast & inquired about it.
"You're the first to ask," she said. "It happened in the mountains at Big Bear, California," she said. "It's broken clear across." Would the break curtail her work at the keyboard? Her response proved how determined she was. "I can play for about 15 minutes," she said. "Then I'll keep on playing with my right." Christine looked on the bright side, however. Her horoscope had been good for that day & she admitted that she follows it closely. --Teen Bag #366, 1980 On tour with Fleetwood Mac in Japan in February |
Wow, I'm really sorry to hear that she followed horoscopes.:distress:

I'm shocked that she followed horoscopes. Maybe Stevie got her interested in that sort of thing.
By the way, I just recently looked closely at this picture. I think Chris has a caste on her left wrist. It looks like she played the accordian with a broken wrist, in addition to the keyboards. |

Even practical people like Christine sometimes have an interest in things like astrology or the metaphysical. |
its probably something she got from her mother
poor chris! i wonder how she did it, and what was she doing on a mountain anyway? |

I would think it would be hard enough to play keyboards with a cast, but to play a big, bulky accordian would be even harder. It must have hurt!:distress: |
