Naw, I don't think that they are ripping them off, they are showing the ultimate honor. Now, when bad pics are sold, or put on shirts, that is ripping them off, imo. It is not illegal to have a tribute band, but, it is to steal images that belong to an artist, or someone else, and put them on tacky things to make a living off of an artist. jmho. Just like selling boots is illegal and that is ripping them off, you know? Stevie would never buy those things or thank those ppl or have her picture taken with someone who was doing that. To her, that is repugnant. Look at Lori's comments about those ppl. The bad tribute bands, they are a slam, but, not illegal. Just bad. Unfortunately, they do not seem to know they are bad. They just blow their horns in their narcissistic world, impervious to the real deal. what is that?

Believe me.... my friends who have a FM tribute band certainly do not make a living from it. They all have 'day jobs' and do the tribute thing as they have a passion for music and are also big fans
