I am 5-2 an Us.

I do not love TOSOTM - I don't hate it, per say, but I don't love it.

And I prefer the No Light demo.

US

rank the "Rock A Little" album as one of their top 3 favorite Stevie albums

THEM

rank the "Rock A Little" album as their least favorite

I've tried for years to find a groove on "Rock A Little" and just can't do it. It's weird because I like most of the individual songs, but as a cohesive whole it's abhorent.

US

loves "The Other Side Of The Mirror" album

Not my favorite (I think it's probably her most carbon dated album as far as the sound goes), but I certainly love it more than I hate it.

Them

does not love it at all

US

prefers John Shanks production on TISL

I really liked some of the tracks by both producers, but I guess I fall more on the John Shanks line becuase I don't really dislike any of the tracks he produced. The same can't be said for Sheryl.

THEM

prefers Sheryl Crow's production on TISL

US

prefers the TISL version of "Planets Of The Universe"

So hard to decide. They're both brilliant in their own way. I adore the build up and delivery of the "don't condescend to me line" and the slow jazzy burn of the orginal. But I also love the build up and delivery of "If I had my life to live over, I would never dream." Plus the TISL version has all those wonderful added lyrics. TISL version, but just barely.

THEM

prefers the original demo from 1976

US

loves when Stevie performs "Stand Back" live at her shows

Oh definitely. I was indifferent to the song before I saw it live. Now I love it. As long as she's able to pull it off, "Stand Back" is one staple that should never leave the set list.

THEM

want her to drop "Stand Back" and do "Violet And Blue" instead

US

think "The Wild Heart" album is better than "Bella Donna"

THEM

think "Bella Donna" is better than "The Wild Heart" album

Most days I prefer "The Wild Heart" but I do believe that "Bella Donna" is the better album.

US

really like "Sister Honey", "Love Changes", and "Maybe Love"

THEM

prefers "Greta", "Affairs Of The Heart", and "Ghosts" instead

Ugh! How am I supposed to answer that? LOL I love "Greta" and Ghosts," but I also love "Love Changes" and "Maybe Love." I can't. In this regard, I'm neither US nor THEM. I'm Switzerland.

So what? I guess that makes me one of "US," but I really get where "THEY" are coming from.

Prefer NONE of them.

And in Tower additional question, I am a them.

Us - 4

Them - 3

Neither - 1

I guess I am a Bi-Curious George on this one, folks.

:

Well, that puts me in one camp for one album and the other for the other. So, immediately I think your definitions of "US" & "THEM" are questionable.

of course you do, cuz you love to disagree with me

like i said, everyone has their own preferences.. and you don't have to fit in each category perfectly... but i've noticed most people sway in either one direction or the other...

It just seems that way because I just respond to the ones I disagree with. Actually, if I responded to the posts of yours that I DO agree with, you'd have a different opinion there, too.

I seem not to fall into either camp very well. I'd like to hang out with the gang who wants Stand Back and Violet and Blue in the setlist.
