Yep! Though I will give it to her she tried to rev it up in Vegas, but it just needs to be higher and faster, which she won't do.

She can't sing it anymore in it's original key and I don't think it's the type of song that could be lowered to a suitable key for her.
Perhaps the musicians on the board could explain it a little better?

Nothing. She can't sing them anymore. They are too vocally challenging for her.

I disagree after hearing her nail B&B and Circle Dance. TTM, is in that same range except for a few notes and she could easily rely on the three girls to go there for her.

In the end, I think once she gets it into her head that she no longer wants to do a song for whatever reason, she never really varies.

That's BS. Her songs are like her children. I think she only says that due to a lack of sales because those records did not sell as well as she'd hoped.

Also, I don't think even she sees SDMHA as a staple. If I recall, she seems to have grabbed for it after Waddy pushed for the song Bella Donna to open the 2001 tour, and I'm sure that scared the crap out of her.

- JAKE
Well, she did perform SDMHA on the Bella Donna Tour, Wild Heart Tour, Rock A Little Tour, TimeSpace Tour, Enchanted Tour, TISL tour, and now her current tour... so basically, 7 of her 9 solo tours.. i would say she probably considers it a staple in her set

I do. I think the ending of those relationships hurt her pretty badly. I'll never forget seeing her on TOSOTM tour, thinking "What's wrong with her?"

Which is disingenuous really because she says she started taking Klonopin shortly after Betty Ford which would have been in late '86 or early '87. Mirror didn't come out until '89.

BATB and Circle Dance are much slower tempo than Talk To Me. She would have to sing a quick succession of higher notes and that long high note at the end. There's no getting around that and the girls can really only help her so much.

Forgiveness not only is a key step in recovery, it offers huge peace of mind.

Well, she could have written most of it prior to 88 and she may not have been so deep into it. I mean she seemed lucid and clear on the TITN tour. Plus, La Nicks graduated into the Klonopin addiction and later added lots of valium, etc. - at least according to her. So, I tend to think she is correct when she says most of TOSOTM was written by the time it really started to get to her. I personally think her really bad years were 1989 to 93 as that was when she looked like a total mess on stage, though she did not look that messy for the BTM show I saw in Dallas.

I personally find it harder to sustain a slow song in a higher range than a fast song - but people vary.

I just hear TTM with her current voice - I hope we find out though

The CD version compared with her live versions from the 80s are different. She went higher live. I think if she kept it like the album version, she could do it.
