I believe in other life existing, I'm not disputing that. I'm just imagining him saying it and it sounds just as feisty and arrogant in itself as what he said on Today.

I love it! The most well behaved movie star suddenly actually says something, and all hell breaks loose! awesome! Too bad he hasn't acted like, say, Russell Crowe, or Sean Penn, or Angelina Freak Out, or Courtney High the whole time, maybe then we wouldn't all be so suprised.

I think firing his people and hiring his sister has a lot to do with this new, and IMO tragic for him, image. An enigma is far more drawing than this act.

yes. just as all those others have been asses. His former restraint, and obvious good intentions, and obvious nice guy-edness, make me not care. I was never looking for life advice from Tom Cruise anyway.

I will always get a huge kick out of that.

Sure, he was quite well-behaved in the past (save his diva antics at a Blockbuster in the UK while shooting Eyes Wide Shut), but there are a slew of other movie stars who have been just as well-behaved. Calling him the MOST well-behaved is stretching it, imo.
