I managed to tape a rerun of the episode of SNL with Stevie's solo appearance a few years ago (when it aired on Comedy Central). She sings Stand Back and Nightbird. The crazy dancer dude from the Stand Back video makes an appearance, and at one point, it looks like Lori and Stevie are making out during their Nightbird duet Unfortunately, I don't have Lindsey's SNL performance on VHS, but I think I might have a copy of him singing Trouble from SNL somewhere....

I believe I still have the mp3 of "Bwana" from SNL at home. If anyone wants it, PM me with your email address and I'll send it to you.

Thanks Christy!

I also altered the front page graphic so that he looks up at you when you pass the mouse over his head. It's kind of fun, but also a little on the creepy side. Hehe.

I went to your page (looks nice) and had him look up at me, and it totally reminded me of when South Park has Saddam Hussein on P.S. nice that you have the visual performances of Linds on SNL, I'm gonna view those when i get home. thanks!

Monty Python comes to mind immediately. Well, I bet Lindsey wouldn't mind that.

WOW! Thanks SO much for posting this link.
I think Todd shows Lindsey up on the Bwana solos.
And I think Lindsey's coked up.
Not trying to be negative, he justs acts like he is.

It really sucks that Steveie and Lindsey were both on the show during the only 5 years when SNL sucked. Why the hell couldn't Fleetwood Mac do the show when both FM and SNL absolutely rocked 1975-1980. And then in 1997 would've been amazing too, and why they didn't do it in 2003 is beyond me. They even had that NBC Fleetwood Mac week but couldn't do SNL

I hadn't thought of that, but there is a Python quality to the head, isn't there? Hehe. Hmm, maybe I should think about taking the site in that direction.

I'm really glad Stevie did the show in '83 because there's precious little live stuff from that year on video or film.

Anyone remember seeing the band on Don Kirshner's Rock Awards show in '77? He used to roll film of them at the show during the credits for the Rock Concert program.

In 1980, they were scheduled to be on Rock Concert, & they were ... sort of. Kirshner praised Stevie for appearing on the Easter Seals telethon with a sore throat, & introduced "The lady & band with a heart, with their big hit 'Sara,' Fleetwood Mac" -- & then just played the Tusk doc film of "Sara."

And, FWIW, Mick Fleetwood's Zoo also appeared on SNL by themselves on a later show.
