Did Fleetwood Mac ever perform on SNL? I can't believe they didn't go anything during The Dance tour...

Only solo

Stevie and Lindsey were each on as solos in the early 80's. The show was sinking after the original cast left and they booked a lot of name acts to get ratings, but not FM. I remember seeing the band on the Midnight Special before Rumours hit big. Doing regular TV after reaching super group status was considered beneath them in the 80s. I was surprised to see them on the Today show for SYW. I think it was the Warners/AOL/MSNBC connection that forced that to happen. Not as a group, but Stevie and Lindsey did some of the late night shows during the Dance tour. I know they were on Letterman.

Yeah, they were on two nights in a row around the Hall of Fame induction. Mick sat in with the band too.

It was posted awhile back on Nancy's site. My "mp3 email address" won't let me send out mp3s anymore (or receive them) or I would send it to ya. :distress: I dunno if there is video available or not.

I think Comedy Central went from SNL to Mad TV. That's a damn shame.

Yeah, Lindsey's backup band BECAME "Mick Fleetwood's Zoo", but at the time they called themselves "The Cholos".

Mick: Drums
George Hawkins: bass, background vocals
Billy Burnette: guitar, background vocals
Todd Sharp: guitar, background vocals

and Lindsey.
