I had no idea there is a local tribute band. I just learned they play in the same venue from time to time. I won't make it next saturday, but I'll be checking to find out when they will play next. No idea if it's a cool band, if they play well, but it's a bar, practically free entrance, just one drink as a minimum consumption , so I think it will be worth a shot. Definitely not the hundred of $ that Rumours Of Fleetwood Mac charged when they came to Lima in 2019, which I didn't go to see.

I guess that rabbit is because of Warner Bros, although he looks very little like Bugs.

Sirius XM Big 80s countdown. Top 40 June 26, 1982

#33 After The Glitter Fades
#30 Hold Me

Asia has the #1 album. Mirage just released and rockets to #12 on the charts

Alan Hunter said that After The Glitter Fades was written for Dolly Parton in 1972 but Stevie could not get the song to her. Apparently she tried but never thought she got it. I never knew this but I googled it and it was true. Stevie was sort of a nobody in 1972 so I doubt it got to Dolly. Plus Dolly writes most of her own music. When Stevie worked with Dolly a few years ago why did she not offer it again to Dolly and instead gave her What Has Rock N Roll Ever Done For You.

I follow a spaniard YouTuber who analyzes movies, myths, historical events, etc., combining them with a specific rock song that fits the video's theme. Today he posted a video about the myth of the Bermuda Triangle and all those fake stories, mainly featuring the Blondie song, but he also mentioned the HAHTF track beforehand. He even shows a few seconds of a TV appearance where Bob sings it.

Yes, I remember reading about this many years ago. I heard on the radio recently, that Dolly was having a few health issues so it would be really nice if she knew about this before it's too late! That is, if Dolly doesn't know already!

Stevie sang this song so beautifully on Bella Donna, and it was to become true for both of them!

You don't hear much about the Bermuda Triangle today. However it was huge in the 1970s. All sorts of "In Search of" shows about the mystery. I cannot remember where I read this but supposedly John and Bob had boats off Key Biscayne (Miami) in the early 70s. Bob would listen to the urban legends from all of the captains in the area about the Bermuda Triangle and it fascinated him. I tried to dig deeper but cannot find any information that Bob was into sailing. Unless maybe Bob was always on John's boat. John would know.
There are several videos on youtube about finding the mystery lake in North Carolina mentioned in his song Hypnotized. Bob would hear these fascinating stories and they inspired him to write songs which would fit the Bermuda Triangle story.

Oh yes, I was a kid in the 70s and loved to read about all those mysteries, it’s easy to believe when you are pre or early teen. But over time I began to see the pseudo scientists gave them absurd explanations. Except for the one about the 1945 flight19, the US bombers in Fort Lauderdale, I always saw it as a great, genuine mystery, perhaps because it's the most famous and even appears in Spielberg’s Close Encounters. They never found them, there has been some avenger wreckage mistaken, but I learned there were several similar accidents in the 40s, so this actually wasn’t an extraordinary event, but it still a mystery anyway. Though not related to a black hole or green little men.

Will it be an unexpected FM that Bob mentions Galveston in this song? I hope so, cause it is my vacation destiny next month, it will be great to find something related to FM.

Oh lord,gurl....I hope it's changed. It's been 20 years, but my aunt gave me and my cousins a time share condo for a week in Galveston. The town was butt assed ugly, and the ocean was ugly. And boring! Fukc, I'd walk down to the Walmarts every afternoon, just to have something to do!
Consider that your Galveston warning.

Thanks for the warning. I know about the beach, it's far from being caribbean. And the sargassum made it worst though that problem is in the entire Gulf of Mexico, even Miami Beach is experiencing a record-breaking sargassum season.

And I'll stay at a campsite in the State Park, not the town. Group of friends, group of anti-boredom drinks

A local newspaper's Facebook advertised vinyl records, with prices starting at S/.79 (~ $23).

The picture shows the Rumours album.
