It appears as if the hi-fi edition with the singles has now sold out.

I didn’t know she called Prince her best friend, too. That’s funny.

even funnier if you ever watch the video by one of Prince's recording engineers who he was friends with... she tells the story of Stevie dancing around Prince at some party, flinging her skirts around while commando and Prince just cringing and hiding behind the engineer.

But be honest. I have evolved from loving Stevie very much to really hating her guts and thinking of her as dead. Even so, I don't see her going commando. Do you? That's not her idea of sexy.

She is just not that type. If the guy said that she had some lacy beautiful undergarments on that she thought would be alluring and kept flinging up her skirt, I would believe that. But she ain't Sharon stoning.

I did roll my eyes when she said Prince wanted to be with her, though. Also, didn't she say she bested him at basketball? What a psycho.

It reminds me of when I read Barbara Eden's autobiography and every single man she ever met was desperate to have her. Plus, she understudied for Lauren Bacall in a play once and she was so popular that no one wanted Lauren Bacall to ever come back to the cast. I was reading and thinking, "Jeanie, you have got to get a grip."

Depends on which version of Stevie it was. It’s absolutely something I wouldn’t have put past THIS iteration of Stevie.

See, even during that era, she may be wigged out on klonopin, but she is still wearing 5 layers of clothes. I see her as the type who thinks clothes are sexier than bare skin.

Regarding the billboard, I do think that sped up video of them hanging it was pretty cool.

These people have been historically bad at marketing, but this time around I think they have successfully fed into the frenzy in a way that will make it increase. They are laying it on us , not all at once, but drip by drip.

I agree with Soul Drifter though: the High Fidelity selling out before we even knew it was on sale is frustrating. As with concert tickets, they need to devise a way of selling this stuff so that the fans have an opportunity to purchase and it's not just the resellers getting rich by scalping us.

She’ll have someone invent a motorized throne, complete with pyrotechnics.

Unfortunately, her wig will catch fire, ironically during “Rooms on Fire” and everyone will think it was intentional.

Now you're just trying to get me so excited. I'd guess that this time, hopefully more than her walls are flaming.

We need to get Rhino to have purchasers sit your patented Ledge onboarding exam!

And her flailing will be in vain. Everyone will assume she's busting a move.

It's her new Murder Hornet move. It's RIDICULOUS.

So to be fair, the engineer, a woman, said about Stevie that her a$$ was hanging out.... and to me that means nekkid, but maybe she had on a thong...? Who knows. I think Stevie goes wayyyy overboard in selling herself as "prudish" (I laugh hysterically every time I hear her say that) because...let's be brutally frank.... the woman nailed every guy she could. Her choice and I'm fine with that, but in the spirit of 'don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining', don't tell me that you got freaky with everyone and their brother and then say you are "prudish"..

ETA: One of the things I found most interesting in the Rolling Stone interview she did a couple or so years ago she said "I've worked very hard to be who people think I am". Now, think about that for a bit. She didn't say be who she IS, naturally, she basically said she worked very hard to create the image people have of her. The *real* Stevie drops f-bombs, has/had lots of sex, lots of drugs, she always tried to paint it like she just stayed quietly in her hotel room on the road like a nun...she actually said once that she and the girls couldn't go out to clubs etc on the road because they would just automatically be classified as "loose, roaming women". Please...stories of her hitting clubs on the Sunset Strip etc in the 80s abound. Boy do I recall way back when I discovered she actually smoked cigarettes and was TOTALLY freaked out about it, never ever thinking in a million years she was a smoker because she always went on and on about her fragile voice and having to protect it...etc. Lots of smoke and mirrors with that one (pun intended)

Yes, it would have been around this time so.... I can totally see it also. I see this era Stevie and I imagine she's zonked out and reeks of cigarettes and poor hygiene.

This is something I can totally see and am betting on.
