So does anyone know where i could watch the show? If there's a replay or something... I missed it (though i'm not sure i could have watched it anyway from here), and it's kind of driving me crazy .

Yeah, Jimmy was on the Lindsey is gorgeous bandwagon. But, Phillip looked like Lindsey in 1980, not '74.

The mainstream media have taken notice! Here is a snarky but glowing recap from Entertainment Weekly. Definitely a fun read.

Exactly! I wish she would coach the Chargers!!

For those who missed this epic episode, maybe try Hulu.com? I've never tried it, but I think it's a website that shows previous TV shows.

Stevie was wonderful, and like countless others have mentioned, so caring. It was heartbreaking when she spoke of her Mom. I know exactly how she feels though. Sometimes it catches me off guard when I THINK I can talk about my Mom without tearing up, but usually at some point afterward I do, and I think that's what happened to Stevie. Bless her.

It was great to hear that Stevie was trending last night on various search engines and twitter! Get that damn documentary released already, Warner Bros!!

Can't wait until "Up All Night" tonight! The clip looks like it's gonna be hilarious!
Why can't Stevie be on the tele every night?? It makes me so much happier - is that too much to ask?

I really enjoyed watching Stevie on Idol last night, though I don't normally watch the show. It made me remember (not that I ever forgot) why I love Stevie so much: she is the real deal, utterly genuine, warm, compassionate, honest, caring, funny...I could go on and on. I wasn't sure what to expect in her mentoring role but she was completely herself and I think that's why she got such a positive reaction from all the contestants. Everyone, including the judges, seemed to have tremendous respect and admiration for Stevie and that was just wonderful to see.

a funny line from TVGuides' review:

"During rehearsal, Stevie Nicks tells her she needs to be more emotional, and goes off on a super depressing tangent about how her mom just died and she has no problems anymore. Hollie just kind of stood there, awkwardly. "

Thumbs up Liked it!

I liked it; she gave some good advice. And yeah, it was sad about her mentioning her mom, but I know why she did it. She wanted Holly to feel the song. Holly & Philip are my favs, & she gave them good advice. Jimmy seemed calmer this week. Every week he seems to get meaner & meaner to me. I'll be interested in seeing what comments he has after last night. Stevie was really good with the contestants. I wish she were there on the show as a judge or a permanent mentor.

And they should have Stevie there singing tonight. Agreed?

Sometimes I wonder if I just think/analyze too much. But I was watching Steven Tyler's facial expression any time they mentioned Stevie and I got the feeling that he doesn't adore her as much as everyone else did. I have nothing to back this up, other than my gut feeling, so take that for what it's worth.

I thought that it was a bit awkward when Stevie was talking about her mother's death, but when she began crying while watching the girl sing, it was heartbreaking. I don't know if it was the singing, the song, or just the mention of her mother that had her in tears. Poor Stevie. She would look over at Jimmy Iovine with such a pained expression from time to time.

I loved the banter between Stevie and Jimmy and I thought she was a wonderful mentor to the contestants. She was a class act, for sure.

Cute read from the contestants:

He donated money to her I-pod charity. They definitely know each other and I think he said he had dinner with Mick Fleetwood for his birthday and all they talked about was Stevie.

Stevie is getting great reviews for this. Looks like everything worked out. She is trending on Yahoo right now and I think she trended Twitter too.
