The bill, if passed by voters, will subject marijuana to essentially the same regulations as alcohol. Perfectly legal for anyone 21 and up, with at least 40 million a year in tax revenue going to schools. The dispensary system is already in place, as is the growth/production (handled by licensed growers - esentially, let's say you have a prescription. You can own, I think, 6 plants - OR - you can license your six plants to a professional grower who has a growers permit. These are same people who grow for dispensaries) The last time this type of initiative went to voters here almost 10 years ago, it was rejected 59/41%, but since then we've introduced medical marijuana, there are dispensaries everywhere it seems, and the state is making a lot of cash from it. I honestly can't see this bill failing. Thoughts?
