Songs That Make Me Cry:

I just have a select few that get to my heart.....You May Be The One, Garbo, and even though it's not technically her, The One, with Vanessa. LOVE those three songs.

Favorite Relationship:

The one she has with Miss Sharona and Lori. What a blend! What a strong bond! Love these three ladies together.

LB is too obvious (and annoying) an answer, so I'm going with her band. Specifically Waddy and the girls.

#4 I cry when I hear, "Two children, too blind, to see. I would fall, in your shadow, I believe" .. . takes me to my brother and I enduring the death of our mother ... and also Storms sends me over when I relive my brothers who were dying, one after the other during the early 90's from AIDS. Heartwrenching, both.

#5 Sharon. Mysterious.

Favorite relationship? I'm going to say Stevie and Mick Fleetwood. I love all of the songs that came from that circus affair

Hearing Doing The Best That I Can for the first time on You tube.

Reason being, 2008 I was new to the Internet & You Tube, & the first thing i did was type in Stevie's name. To this day i'm not sure why it was her that came to mind first off cause i totally lost interest in her a long time ago, which i really regret now. anyway the first song i wanted to watch on You Tube was GDW, immediately i became addicted & would stay up till 3 in the morning every night, watching every single fascinating interview, live concert performance's, demos recordings etc, i have been in Stevie heaven ever since!!
Not long after i discovered Doing The Best That I Can piano version, & that song just broke my heart, i bawled my eyes out. I guess at that time when this song was recorded i thought Stevie had dropped off the face of the planet, when in fact she was going through the most torturous, painful time of her life.. very sad indeed..
Anyway thank the Stevie angels she got through it, and now she's finally at peace & happy with her life
I like this!

Sharon and Lori...they've been with her through everything and the admiration and respect you see in their faces when they are on stage together is really something special. True friends.

This serves to strenthen my choice for #5. I love how they are right beside her during an obviously bad time. And almost fiercly protective. Their faces show it.

Fashionably late as usual...

Question #1: "Crying In The Night". It was the first song on the first album I heard of Stevie Nicks. Wasn't really the SONG that "drew me in"...it was the album cover (DUH!!).

Question #2: can't narrow it to one, difficult enough to narrow it to 5. Don't have time to search 'em out right now, but will come back to edit this question when I find the photos.

Question #3: Fleetwood Mac at Anaheim Stadium (Sept 75) when they opened for Loggins & Messina and The Faces. The "Rhiannon" that day was jaw-droppingly stunning.

Question #4: Yes, I will admit that there've been a few occasions where my eyes have welled up while listening to either a Stevie song, or one of her songs with Fleetwood Mac. Don't recall any details other than that generic statement.

Question #5: Her relationship with.....ME! Because that's the only one I know the intimate details about. (and, yes, I AM being serious)

Question #6: "Dreams". No..."Silver Springs". No..."Dreams". Well, either one of those two.

Question #7: "No Spoken Word", "Ghosts Are Gone", "Sisters Of The Moon", any live "Rhiannon" before 1979.

I would have to agree with ya on this one. Lori and Sharon and a few other close girlfriends we don't see in public (ex. Mary Torrey), these ladies have been through everything with her since 1979/80, Mary had been around since the begining. There is an obvious love between them. I have a few close friends like that, and I wouldn't of gotten through many periods of my life without them.. The girls and Waddy have anchored her solo career.

I'd say Waddy, they have had a musical relationship for decades and experienced highs and lows together!
