What the ****? Does everyone, including video editors, suffer from severe ADD? I would normally love the video - it's full of stunning images and senarios. The problem is it's chopped up and presented in 2 second segments throughout the entire thing. blink blink blink blink blink blink blink blink blink blink flash flash flash flash flash flash flash flash flash flash It's nearly intolerable to watch. That really pisses me off. It's a shame it's so erratic. There are some nice scenes that could have lingered a bit longer, so you could take pause and be a bit more engaged with it; it would be more emotive and in sync with the pace of the song. But, no! If you blink you missed it! I don't understand why this approach is taken or seen as desirable. I have a hard time watching it. EPILITECS BE WARNED!

Sorry to derail it.

But I went on topic with this.

"It was nice to see Stevie's niece in the video.I wonder if she will take after her mom and her aunt Stevie. "

It doesn't suck at all. But you do go to sleep at night, clutching your pillow and involuntarily humming Someday We'll Be Together. And you sigh a lot.

And wonder about polytunnels.

Could some of you post some positive comments on Perez's site about the video to support Stevie? Not a lot of comments and some are very negative. She needs support.

I totally agree...I watched it again a few times last night since I was underwelmed the first few viewings. The choppy editing is extremely distracting and difficult to watch. I didn't really pick up on it until I watched it a few more times. And like you said, there are some great scenes..especially of Stevie gazing, pensively out the bus window. The problem is those scenes end before you have time to enjoy them.

I think it's a great, classy video. The song, however, I do not enjoy, and I think it is a bad one to have as a single.
