Why aren't there any leaked Lindsey demo tapes?

I did, back in 2001.

I think there's a lot less in-progress music from Lindsey in circulation because it lives on his computer. He doesn't go in to a recording studio with three dozen other musicians and engineers, the way Stevie does. He writes all his words, writes his music, records nearly everything himself, engineers it, etc. And he doesn't have that effusively giving personality that Stevie has when it comes to passing his music around before it's released officially.

Thank you for this explanation. I definitely understand now why there are very few leaks of unreleased Lindsey songs. He is smart enough to keep his demos away from people he can't trust to keep them private. Unlike Stevie.

This explains why there have not been any leaks of the new album material, even though most of Lindsey's share was recorded two and a half years ago with Mick and John.

Now for Christine. Does anyone know why there are a lack of leaks for her unreleased material?

I remember her publicly confessing that at the time of The Dance, she was absolutely prolific in her song writing. She mentioned in a 1997 band interview (which is on YouTube) that she had written about a dozen songs and would choose one new song for the concert. That turned out to be Temporary One.

Were the other eleven or so songs released as In The Meantime album? Or are they still in Christine's vault, so to speak?

And I adore those. They show his sketchy side, they are in depth examples of his 'canvas'- songwriting approach. Very beautiful, challenging and RAW.
